Our History
Our company was officially founded in 1975 by Antonino "Pap" Gambino. Antonino was born in 1931 in Palermo, Sicily and worked in the Italian Merchant Marines as a chief electrician. He immigrated to the US in 1960 and worked at various electrical motor repair shops in Brooklyn and New Jersey. While working fulltime to provide for his new family, he began repairing and rewinding electric motors from his garage at home. Pap opened New Jersey Electric Motors with his son, Salvatore, in 1975. Today, New Jersey Electric Motors is growing strong with clients from all over the United States.
Antonino passed away in February 2007 after many years of dedication to the company and his customers. He is missed by all.

Our facility handles up to 1000HP A/C and D/C motors and services most related equipment such as blowers, fans, and Stator pumps. We are ISO 9000 compliant and perform our work to the highest of standards. All of our materials used in the repair of your equipment is of the best quality. Only the finest bearings are used for rebuilding our motors and only the best workmanship goes into our repairs. We take pride in our work and guarantee our quality repairs of rebuilt motors and all other work performed.

Our facility performs AC/DC electric motor rewinds, fractional to 1000HP. We perform repairs on Sewage Treatment Pumps, Commercial HVAC & Refrigeration and Gear Motors. Other services include UL Recertification, Dynamic Balancing, Machine Work, Epoxy Encapsulation, and custom made Field Coils.
In-Plant Services
In Plant services are also available for Preventative Maintenance and Vibration Analysis Service.
